For the French picnic lovers at heart, we advise that you place your order quickly and reserve your date in advance. Bookings have to be placed a minimum of 24 hours ahead of your picnic date.
Once we receive your order, we will get back to you promptly to fine tune all the details via email. All events can be paid in full once all of the planning have been taken care of. Paris summer love
It is with great pleasure that we plan our Paris picnic parties with our traditional wicker baskets! Catering for a romantic picnic adventure at Versailles, a Paris engagement at the Eiffel tower, birthdays & party celebrations have been a wonderful experience. We have met lots of new friends along the way … one of the main reason why we decided to start “Love Picnic Paris”. Sharing our passion and French culture in the city that we LOVE is a lot of fun . We cannot recommend enough experiencing a Paris picnic at the Eiffel tower or the gardens of Versailles if you are planning a visit to France this summer.
We met up with Mark and Natasha at the Trocadero gardens for a special afternoon. They enjoyed our romantic “Edith Piaf” picnic overlooking the Eiffel tower. Their Eiffel picnic was all set up for them when they arrived to the park. Our photographer took them around the site once they finished their picnic for some lifestyle photography. The photo session lasted one hour. Olivier doesn’t count the time spent with his clients neither. The photo sessions often go overboard ! Neither does he counts the number of photos that he sends out to our clients. All of our Paris couple photos are retouched, sent out a few days after the shooting. You never wait for then a couple of days to receive your Paris photo story.
Olivier has worked in NYC for over 10 years as a professional photographer before he decided to settle back home. He has tons of experience making sure that his clients are having a wonderful time diring the photo session. His photos are anything apart from cliché, and convey the beauty of love, family and friendship. It is a real pleasure to spend the afternoon with him.

Our photographers style is fun and easy so it seems anyway! Years of experience and passion for his craft makes him a great professional photographer to work with. Mark was a little on the shy side while Natasha is used of having her photos taken for work. The result is stunning ! They look so happy together and certainly had a great time in the city with us.

All of our picnics can be customized to your liking. Simply add a note to your order or send us an email. Once we have received your order, we will follow up within the next 24 hours to fine tune all of the little details. Payment can be done once everything is finalized.
Your Paris picnic will be set up at one of the park that we selected together. There are a few options that you can add to your picnic basket. Paris birthday celebration.
Carmen was one of the first client of “Love Picnic Paris”. She purchased one of our gourmet picnic in Paris a few years back. She was visiting the city with her husband and two kids. A few years later, her husband got in touch again! Carmen was visiting with a couple of her friends this time. She was going to celebrate her 40th birthday in the city. We planned her Paris family birthday picnic celebration at the Trocadero gardens on a gorgeous afternoon. What a wonderful idea and such a special surprise. Our fabulous deco picnic was all set up when they arrived at the garden.
Our photographer welcomed them for some photos with the picnic set up. Our clients enjoyed a beautiful afternoon in the park. Once they finished, Olivier took them around the Eiffel tower for some more portraits.
I have to say that it is a real delight to meet up with past clients again! We Love our clients, they are a lot of fun. We are so glad that our clients often reach out to us again from one year to the next.

You will find a few possible options such as flowers, champagne and professional photography. If anything, you have the possibility to leave a note at the end of your order. A professional photography session is also a lot of fun. We propose a mini photo session at the picnic site as well as one hour of photography around the Eiffel tower. Again, we are very open to your specific requests. You can order your photo session while you place an order for your picnic. Our photographer can also take you around the city for an extra hour. A Paris family photo session is also a great idea. Anything can be organised to fit your schedule.

Versailles gardens picnics.
“Love Picnic Paris” now proposes gourmet picnics to our clients at the gardens of Versailles. The Palace of Versailles was originally built in 1624 as a simple, countryside royal retreat for hunting purposes. King Louis XIV, the Sun King, developped a genuine liking for the surrounding countryside. Louis XIV had a vision & dedicated 50 years of his reign to fulfill his life long dream. In 1682, he moved both the royal residence and French seat of government to Versailles. Versailles is today one of the most extraordinary achievements of 17th century European architecture.

Versailles castle is located 1/2 hour west of Paris on the way to the Normandy region and the garden of Monet in Giverny. We simply adore going there for the afternoon. It is the perfect escape from city life. The park of Versailles is the most enchanted and peaceful destination rich in French history.

We host our Versailles picnics either at the grand canal or at a park on the way to the Trianon palace. Strolling through the park is like walking through part of the history of France. From the French-style gardens in front of the Palace to the English garden at the Trianon, the Estate of Versailles is home to the most extraordinary species of trees. Today, specific Versailles gardens tours are organized in the park counting the history of some of the most amazing trees in France.

We often host our gourmet picnics under the doyen of the historical trees planted in the park over 300 years ago. This pedunculate oak tree which dates from the time of Louis XIV will shed you from the afternoon sun. Planted in 1668, it is 36 metres high and the circumference of its trunk is more than 5 metres! It was grown from seed planted in 1670 when Louis XIV and architect André Le Nôtre initiated the construction of the Park.
Famous landscape designer André Le Nôtre was commissioned to design the park from 1661 onwards. A number of full-size adult trees were dug up from the forests of
Normandy and replanted at Versailles. Nurseries were set up in the park, helping boost homegrown tree production over time. The woodland of the Park is still today mainly composed of beautiful oaks and chestnut trees. At the time of Louis XIV’s death, they were known to cover 5,000 acres of the Estate’s entire area.
Versailles’ park heritage has expanded over the years to include rare trees from far-off lands such as the American tulip tree and the Japanese Pagoda tree. Along side our Picnic ancestral Oak tree trone some magnificient cedar trees from Lebanon planted around 1770. You will also find a bald Cypress, an English oak trees, a Ginkgo Bilobas trees, as well as a purple cooper beech trees planted in the surroundings.

Versailles guided tours, gourmet picnics & photography.
“Love Picnic Paris” collaborates with a few experienced professional guides who customize private guided tour of the estate. Here is the link to the official Versailles estate site where you can also purchase your day pass. We recommend that you visit the castle in the morning. You will venture through the State apartments that includes the King’s & Queen’s Chamber, the famous Hall of Mirrors.
You can then head down to the canal for a well deserved lunch. We will have one of our gourmet picnic all set up & waiting for you. Our goumet picnics can be catered for up to 30 guests. A typical menu would include French traditional baguette, a selection of cheeses, a selection of cold meats, a vegetable market salad, a French vegetable quiche, seasonal fruits and a chocolate cake.

Versailles logistic map & day planning.
The palace and the gardens are open to public every day of the year. While the main palace opens at 9:00 AM, the Palace of Trianon and Marie Antoinette’s Estate open at 12:00 PM.
The park is open to the public every day of the year from 7:00 AM to 8:30 PM.
- 1/ Your driver can enter the park via the “Cours de la reine entrance” and drive you all the way down to the grand canal. The entrance fee is €12 for a day pass for the car. Alternatively, your driver can drop you off at the main entrance in the morning if you have purchased your tickets online. The Estate morning visits starts at 9am.
- 2/ Following your morning visit, you can walk all the way down to the grand canal across the main gardens. Your gourmet picnic will be waiting for you either at the canal or at the petit Tricanon park. We will geo localize the exact picnic location 1/2 hour prior to your arrival time. The picnic set up time is usually around 12h30. (spots are marked 2/3 on the map) All that you have to do is enjoy your picnic hour with family and friends. We will be on call if needs be. We will also dismantle your picnic once you have finished.
- 3/ You can then carry on with your afternoon visit being well rested. The grand trianon and the gardens of the queen will be steps away for you to enjoy.

Drafting your Paris birthday menu.
Our birthday picnics are usually set up at the champ de Mars. We will find the best spot for the afternoon once we arrive at the park. The exact location will be geo-localized roughly 1/2 an hour prior your picnic hour. We will go to the market in the morning to prepare your menu. A gourmet picnic comes with our traditional French baguette, a selection of French cheeses, a market vegetable salad, a selection of cold meats, a vegetable quiche, seasonal fruits and a chocolate cake with candles and balloons. It is ideal that you get in touch a few weeks prior to your date. This way we can we can easilly accommodate your date and time.

“Love Picnic Paris” will have your picnic set up and ready usually around 13h for a lunch party. We will be present on site if needs be. Once you have finished, we will take care of the dismantle for you. All that you have to do is enjoy a gorgeous afternoon with your party under a beautiful Parisian sky.
Our professional photographer can document your gourmet picnic. It is a fun way to commemorate your special event. All of the photos will be professionally edited, retouched and send out the next day in high resolution format. This way you can produce a gorgeous album of your Parisian memories.

“Love Picnic Paris” has produced picnic events at the Eiffel tower for the past 6 years. We have hosted many different picnis for all occasions. Clients contact us for a romantic outing, a birthday celebration, a bachelorette party, a friends get together, or a corporate party. We will set up your picnic close to the Eiffel tower either at the champ de Mars or the Trocadero gardens. For a group party it is always best to send us an email first to share your ideas, with a date and the number of your guests.
