The gardens were designed by André Le Notre, Louis XIV landscape architect in 1661. The gardens cover over 900 hectares of lands, most of which is landscaped in a classic French formal style. Exciting day for “Love Picnic Paris”. We have just planned a wonderful proposal at the gardens of Versailles with the most talented engagement photographer. Days are getting longer, spring time is around the corner now. It is a little cold still in Paris & planning a stylish engagement at the gardens of Versailles is a wonderful call of duty.

As always, we had the most amazing time with our clients. It is a blessing to be part of such an important moment in ones life. We have quite a few more engagement picnics planned already for the coming months at the gardens of Versailles. Heading to Versailles for the afternoon is always a lot of fun. Versailles is the most peaceful and enchanted setting for a surprise proposal.

Fun gourmet picnic experience at the Versailles estates.

Versailles estate, located 45mn drive from the center of Paris is a cultural & historical delight. Versailles is also the most wonderful setting for our gourmet picnics. We set up our picnics either along the canal or at the park heading towards the Marie Antoinette estate.

Destination Versailles for your secret proposal.

We simply LOVE heading to Versailles for the day. Regardless of the season, Versailles estate is the most amazing historical site located only half an hour west of Paris. A lot of our clients decide on Versailles to propose to their girlfriend. Versailles gardens are definitely our favorite escape for a gourmet picnic and the perfect setting for a secret proposal.

Visits to the palace start at 9am while the Trianon estate opens at noon.You can purchase your tickets in advance through the official Versailles estate website. The palace as well as the Trianon estate are open every day apart from monday. The park and the gardens are open every days. There are three train stations running from Paris. Located on Boulevard de la Reine, the Queens gates give you access to the park with a car. There is a charge of €12 to access the park by car.
