Paris birthday celebration.

Carmen was one of the first client of “Love Picnic Paris”. She purchased one of our gourmet picnic in Paris a few years back. She was visiting the city with her husband and two kids. A few years later, her husband got in touch again! Carmen was visiting with a couple of her friends this time. She was going to celebrate her 40th birthday in the city. We planned her Paris family birthday picnic celebration at the Trocadero gardens on a gorgeous afternoon. What a wonderful idea and such a special surprise. Our fabulous deco picnic was all set up when they arrived at the garden.

Our photographer welcomed them for some photos with the picnic set up. Our clients enjoyed a beautiful afternoon in the park. Once they finished, Olivier took them around the Eiffel tower for some more portraits.

I have to say that it is a real delight to meet up with past clients again! We Love our clients, they are a lot of fun. We are so glad that our clients often reach out to us again from one year to the next.

You will find a few possible options such as flowers, champagne and professional photography. If anything, you have the possibility to leave a note at the end of your order. A professional photography session is also a lot of fun. We propose a mini photo session at the picnic site as well as one hour of photography around the Eiffel tower. Again, we are very open to your specific requests. You can order your photo session while you place an order for your picnic. Our photographer can also take you around the city for an extra hour. A Paris family photo session is also a great idea. Anything can be organised to fit your schedule.

Paris engagement picnic and a photo session with Simon and Monica.

It is always a real pleasure to meet new clients in Paris over one of our picnic. It has now been over three years since we first started “Love Picnic Paris”! We have planned a lot of family picnics around the Eiffel tower, the Louvre and the Luxembourg gardens. We love our city. We also love gathering over a nice meal & a bottle of wine with family and friends. It has been a tradition in both our families since as far as we can recall to pack a picnic basket and head off to the country or the beach for the day. With “Love Picnic Paris”, we have managed to combine both our love for the city we live in and the enjoyment of sharing a picnic with lovers, friends and family.

Simon and Monica are typically addicted to Paris. They live in China and commonly fly once a year to the city for a few days to eat macarons and stroll down the streets of the Marais says Monica. Well this time around, Simon was going to propose and contacted ” Love Picnic Paris” to set up one of our lovely surprise picnic wicker basket at the foot of the Eiffel tower. He pop up the question as he was popping up the bottle of champagne.

Olivier was a little distance away capturing the whole scene as it happened in a discreet manner. Funny enough, Monica had never been to the Eiffel tower side of Paris before. It was with a little surprise that she let her lover take her there for a summer afternoon. She was even more surprised to find out that there were a gourmet picnic all set up for them when they arrived at the Trocadero gardens. No need to say how taken back she was when Simon kneeled down and proposed to his lover. Monica cried, they laughed, kissed and cuddled. Then Monica finally realized they were being photographed!

All of our gourmet picnics can be coupled with photography, either 1/2 an hour, one hour at the Eiffel tower. You can then extend your engagement photo session with Olivier to another hour or more at a different time of the day so that you get morning or afternoon light. From experience, we feel that the best would be to have your surprise picnic over lunch time, propose during the picnic hour. Let our photographer document the proposal and take you around the Eiffel tower and Trocadero site for one hour of photography.

You can then decide to meet up again at sunset at the Louvre gardens or the seine to complete your engagement session. It is a wonderful opportunity to have a professional photographer capture those magical moments while you are in the most amazing city of the world.

Our photographer would capture those moments in a lifestyle manner, with natural and unposed photos of the two of you. This way when you decide to marry, you can use those one of a kind engagement photographs as an invitation for the wedding or a signing book for your guests.

Jess and Ben were engaged in Paris at the Trocadero gardens yesterday. We organised a gourmet picnic for them coupled with an engagement photo session with one of the best lifestyle photographer in the city. The photos rock our world. They both look so HAPPY and in LOVE with each other. The final photos of their engagement are simply very moving and so romantic. Those visuals really show their happiness in a natural and unposed manner. It is so important to choose your photographer with care. You want the whole process to be fun and the memories of your day to showcase those flying moment with grace and talent. Make your memories unique with touching, everlasting images captured by a professional photographer. Photography is a real craft and you deserve the best.

GORGEOUS photographs, we are so excited at the idea to share a few portraits of Jess and Ben gourmet picnic and secret proposal. We have already sent a few of their engagement photo to Jessy’s mother who planned everything from a distance. Every one is thrilled. We are very glad to have been able to assist this family in making the kids proposal a wonderful afternoon in Paris.

Everything was well planned in advance. We had been communicating with Ben the day before on whatsapp so that the timing was going to run smoothly. We did not take into consideration Ben’s emotional level. He was supposed to propose as they arrived at the picnic location. Olivier was hiding, ready to take the photos of the proposal as planned. Only when they arrived at the picnic, they sat down and started to open the bottle of wine. They carried on with enjoying their picnic, spreading all of the goodies on the mat.

Ben simply forgot that he was supposed to propose to Jess so it seemed at first. After a good 1/2 hour into the picnic, he finally stood up pretexting for a photo with the eiffel tower with the love of his life. AND YES, finally he kneeled down on the grass, looked at his girl friend in the eyes and asked: ” Do you want to marry me! ”

Snap, snap, snap, Olivier took a lot of photos from this moment onwards. following the proposal, he moved forward to introduced himself. Both Jess and Ben were in tear! He snapped a few more shots and let our couple enjoy the moment. After they had finished their lunch, we packed up and Olivier took them around the trocadero gardens for their engagement photo session. Here are part of the afternoon in a few visuals below.

Why not celebrating your Paris trip with “Love Picnic Paris”. Have a gourmet picnic with us, combine with an engagement photo session with Olivier, our professional photographer! Sounded like a great idea to J+M who flew all the way from Passadena to spend a few days in Paris before heading to Brussels and the south of France for their summer vacation.

You have chosen your engagement ring, you have booked your trip to Paris. Only it is your first time in France, you would like everything to be perfect for this very special day. You are not sure how to start though!

Over the past couple of years, we have helped many couple celebrate their Paris engagement in a flawless manner! It takes a little planning to fine tune the little details involved for your secret proposal with ” Love Picnic Paris ”

Once you have chosen your picnic style, we will guide you with choosing the right location. The Eiffel tower is obviously the number one destination but it can get a little crowded. Remember there are close to 17M tourist flying to France every year with a stop over in Paris. Once you have arrived in the city,dropped your bags at the hotel, the first site you would go to is the Eiffel tower. It can get a little crazy at time!

The Eiffel is certainly an amazing place for a secret proposal but do not forget that Paris is a gem of amazingly romantic locations which are often a little quieter. I was thinking of the Louvre gardens located in between the Pyramide and the Tuilerie gardens. Surprisingly enough, it is a little piece of heaven where tourist do not venture. It is only a few yards from the main entrance of the Louvre!

The Luxembourg gardens is also one of our favorite. It is situated on the border between Saint-Germain-des-Prés and the Latin Quarter. The Park is in the 6th arr. walking distance to iconic cultural cafe’s such as ” Les deux Magots ” and the ” café de Flores “. The garden contains just over a hundred statues, monuments and fountains, scattered throughout the grounds. It is utterly romantic, and overwelmingly beautiful!

So here, three different locations to chose from! Once you have decided on your perfect place to propose to your love one. We would fine tune the time of the day, pin point the exact location where your picnic would be ready and Olivier our photographer would take your proposal photographs as it happens.

You would then enjoy your picnic, crack a bottle of champagne. We would dismantle your picnic space for you so that you can carry on with your Paris engagement photo session with Olivier with the most amazing city in the background.

This is exactly what J+M did at the gardens of the Trocadero a few days back. Their picnic was followed by one hour photo session with Olivier around the site. The photos were sent to them a few days after their special event so that they could share they happiness with friends and family back home. Olivier would send you a couple of retouched photos the very same day as well to speed up the announcement!

Our latest secret proposal venture combining a gourmet picnic and a mini photo session at the gardens of the Louvre with our photographer. When we started ‘Love Paris Picnic ” the idea was to share our love for picnics, outings with friends and creative photography. Olivier is a very talented photographer with a vast experience in lifestyle and portrait photography.

Paris being the city of love, we quickly found our marks, catering for very special secret proposals but not only! You can of course order a gourmet picnic from us via our picnic order page. We have four different gourmet picnics to choose from. I have to say that it is a real delight to organise a secret proposal in our wonderful city for our international clients. It is equally rewarding to prepare a delightful picnic in one of our wicker basket for friends, families and partners in crime who wish to have a special experience in Paris, something that is truly a “French tradition”.

Back to our lovers outings, we assist you with finding the perfect site, a romantic and peaceful setting. We will set up the most romantic gourmet picnic with one of our wicker basket, lovely cushions, candles, umbrella to shade yourself from the sun if need be. We would also dismantle the set up once you are finished so that you can carry on with your visit without having to worry about returns.

As to photography! Olivier would document your proposal from the distance in a discreet fashion. This way you have some creative visuals of a very important moment in your life. The photos would be retouched and sent out to you the next day so that you can share your love with friends and family while still vacationing.

Our picnics are usually set up at the gardens of the Trocarero, the gardens of the Louvre or the Luxembourg gardens. All three Parisian locations have their own specific charm and atmosphere. We love them all! Our picnics can be tailored to your specific needs as well. We have actually put together a vegan picnic recently for one of our client. This was a new experience for us. Jamie proposed at the Louvre gardens. It was a fun event to organize.
